Lakes and water activities
Lake Les Rousses:
Lake Les Rousses is surrounded by bogs, which make the site a showcase of wildlife. You can also discover the fauna and flora of Haut-Jura's bogs by taking a trip down a special trail along the lake. Enjoy crystal-clear water to swim in, or sit back and contemplate the beauty of your surroundings. This lake also has a watersports centre. Find available rentals and sailing courses below.
Lake Lamoura:
It is the highest lake in the French Jura. Located at the foot of the Massacre forest in a preserved corner of wilderness, Lake Lamoura has an outstanding diversity of plant life. A discovery trail will take you to its bogs, aquatic moss collections, shoots of purple moorgrass, and the carnivorous sundew. Meadows bursting with wild orchids and globeflower provide a transition into pastures and adjoining mowed lawns. Children's games and a picnic area have been added on the lake's shore. You can also take a swim.
