Getting around the Rousses Station – 4 villages

In winter, we advise you to use the ski bus shuttles to facilitate access to the ski area, to the 4 villages and to reduce your impact on the environment.

  • In the Redheads : parking behind the Tourist Office & Biocoop.
  • At the Cure : Arbez Franco-Swiss hotel-restaurant.
  • In Bois d'Amont : Cévéo village club.

In neighboring Switzerland

To go through customs, you must have your identity card or passport (or failing that, your family record book).

Road traffic:

Anyone using a Swiss motorway must display a sign on the windscreen of their vehicle cartoonsWith the vignette, you can use the Swiss motorway network all year round (valid from December 1 of the previous year to January 31 of the following year). If you have a trailer or caravan, you must purchase an additional vignette. Outside of motorways, the vignette is not required.
The motorway vignette is non-refundable. It costs CHF 40, or approximately €42. It can be purchased directly online or at Swiss gas stations and Swiss customs posts. Please note that access to Geneva or Lausanne can also be via the national road.


Means of payment :

The currency is the Swiss franc (CHF). Prices are often listed in both CHF and Euros. It's possible to pay in Euros at tourist attractions, but change is given in CHF. You can withdraw Swiss francs from some ATMs in the resort. Most (international) bank cards are accepted. However, fees will be added to your payment.

Pets:

For our 4-legged friends, plan to bring their health book and to present a vaccination record must be up to date. Pets must be vaccinated against rabies. The rabies vaccination, certified on the vaccination certificate, must have been carried out at least 21 days and at most 12 months before entering Switzerland. The 21-day period is not mandatory in the case of regular annual boosters.


La Cure train:

Le tourist train, departing from the border hamlet of La Cure, will take you in complete peace to Saint-Cergue et Nyon. It will allow you to admire one of the most beautiful panoramas Franco-Swiss. See the Lake Geneva basin and the magnificent Alps with Mont Blanc, weather permitting.
The train is running every day and every hour. Buy your tickets at the machine from La Cure station. More information “Train timetables”.
Groups (at least 3 days before): To purchase “Train + Boat” tickets to go to the medieval city of Yvoire from La Cure, contact the Groups service.
