Town of Saint Cergue, SAINT-CERGUE - Resort of the Rousses | Resort of the Rousses

City of Saint Cergue

The small town of Saint-Cergue in Switzerland is located a stone's throw from the French border. This small winter sports resort at the foot of the Dôle and Barillette mountains has a population of just over 2. Located in the heart of the Jura Vaudois Natural Park, Saint-Cergue is the ideal base for outdoor sports in both summer and winter. Its proximity to the French border and to the town of Nyon, with which it shares a convenient train line, make it an ideal accessible resort for families.

Many walks and hikes are available around Saint-Cergue, providing access to superb panoramas, typical Jura pastures and Swiss alpine chalets renowned in particular for the production of Gruyère AOP.

Saint-Cergue is also a stopover town on the Échappée Jurassienne, the hiking route of the major sites of the Franco-Swiss Jura which crosses the cross-border Jura massif from West to East over nearly 350km.
