The mountain of La Dôle
La Dôle with its vast borderless ski area and view over the Alps:
Easily recognisable through the curious "white mushroom" on its summit, the mountain of La Dôle is the highest point in this Franco-Swiss region at 1677 m.
From its summit, enjoy an incredible 360° view over the Alps, Lake Geneva, the Jura Mountain chain and Les Rousses plateau.
You may well spot some chamois as you make your ascent.
In winter, snow transforms the mountain's slopes into a cross-border paradise for ski fans.
