Classification and commitments of the Tourist Office

Les Rousses Resort's Tourist Office belongs to the Tourist Offices of France network. It is classified as Category I, the highest level of quality of service within a tourist office. The classification notice was published by the Prefect of Jura on 30 August 2013 and is valid for 5 years. This made Les Rousses Resort's Tourist Office the first tourist office in Jura to get this level of classification.

This distinction recognizes the professionalism of our tourist office in terms of hospitality, distributing tourism information, developing the Resort's land, local development, and providing advice and guidance to holidaymakers and tourism industry professionals alike.

Category I means that the Tourist Office is committed to:
- providing an easily accessible reception and information area.
- facilitating your requests.
- providing a seating area.
- providing free information about local tourism.
- displaying and communicating its opening hours in at least two foreign languages.
- providing a free WiFi access.
- being open at least 305 days per year including Saturday and Sunday during the tourist season or for events.
- responding to your letters all year round.
- ensuring the permanent presence of staff who speak at least 2 foreign languages.
- providing printed tourist maps and guides.
- providing access to its dedicated trilingual website designed for viewing on onboard devices.
- providing printed tourist information translated in at least 2 foreign languages about:
          - All listed holiday accommodations, including at least the name of the establishment, mailing address, e-mail address, website URL, phone numbers, and classification level.
          - Cultural, natural, or recreational monuments and tourism sites, which may include notice of regular rates, opening hours and periods, the website, phone numbers, and mailing addresses.
          - Events and tours.
          - Emergency telephone numbers.
- annually updating its tourism information.
- displaying emergency assistance telephone numbers outside.
- presenting all information necessary within its jurisdiction to all visitors.
- providing you with access to the availability status of listed lodging sites.
- handling complaints and measure your satisfaction.
- providing a tourist information service that incorporates new information and communication technologies (social media, mobile phones, geolocation, etc.).
- meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
- providing a trip advisor.
- guaranteeing reliable and current information about local tourism.
